ROMANTIC HEART-PLAYFUL SPIRIT-SOLID CHARACTER

Seattle transplant-have now lived in SoCal 7 years and love it here! I'm finding it hard to describe myself and the type of relationship I'd love to find within the limited confines of this format but I'll try. First, you'll find me to be genuine--I'm a nice person. I happen to be young-looking and thinking but I'm also a happy, caring, romantic woman desiring to connect w/my true soulmate and best friend for the last and best relationship of our lives--someone who brings out the best in me and I in him. I think I probably want what most of us want--a lasting, loving relationship built on shared interests and mutual respect; someone with whom I share an approach to life, a sense of humor, romantic attraction and the VERY necessary bond of chemistry.

On the surface: I enjoy reading, exploring new places and things w/ my partner, Italian food, good red wine (and appreciate a man who knows how to order it!), wine-tasting, seafood, salads of any kind, ice cream, Starbucks, all cultural arts, traveling, music, outdoor jazz concerts, the ocean and walking--practically anywhere at all! I enjoy upscale dining but I also love discovering that little hole in the wall serving great food that many others may not know about. I'm equally comfortable hanging in my jeans or attending a Black Tie event. I converse well in most crowds and know how to fit in. I am also a homebody and enjoy staying in and watching DVD's together, fixing a great dinner for us, thunderstorms, candles, hot-tubbing, sharing affection and passion, being attentive to one another.

Going deeper: I've been told I'm a good listener. I appreciate nature, almost all music, good health. I am empathetic, well-read, and care about others and the state of the world. I value intelligence, keen wit, insight, and compassion. There are so many hard-to-define elements that come together when a real connection is made that it's hard to list them without sounding completely superficial. Let's just say if you're resonating with any of this, I hope we find each other!

I'm ready to meet a GREAT GUY - a kind, confident, articulate man who's looking for the type of woman I've described above--one who's ready to embrace the future and the great things life may have in store for us together. I appreciate a man who is able to flow with life's inevitable ups and downs; one with a sense of humor who loves to laugh...especially at himself and me; one who can chuckle at life's little ironies and occasional outrageous idiosyncrasies. I'm not interested in players or those with commitment issues who haven't already dealt w/ any previous baggage from past relationships. I'm not a "millionaire" myself (far from it!) and I'm not looking for a sugar-daddy as I love my work in the healthcare profession, but I admit it would be nice to be with a man who might spoil me once in a while! I've already raised 2 great kids--they're both now living on their own, and I have no excess baggage or dramas going on in my life. I'm ready to create new memories and share life's adventures with the right man and I still believe in love without reservation.
